SABAH AL REEF (AE) - (J Santiago): Hampered when taken in at the start by another runner. General: Stewards inquired into the reason for WAFI W’RSAN (AE)(M Monaghan) having to be steadied approaching the 1200 metres. On the evidence and the available footage it was established that AF KHAFAJEH (AE)(R de Oliveira) shifted in when not sufficiently clear of WAFI W’RSAN (AE), which was racing greenly and had to be steadied as a result. Jockey R de Oliveira (AF KHAFAJEH (AE)) was advised to exercise more care in a similar situation and in coming to this conclusion took into account the racing manner of WAFI W’RSAN (AE).
