SAN DIMAS (USA) - (J Rosales): Shortly after the start, was bumped on multiple occasions by another runner and eventually having to be steadied. Lay out under pressure from the 700 metres. RESONANT (IRE) - (S Hitchcott): Over-raced in the early and middle stages. PLY (GB) - (T O'Shea): Raced wide without cover throughout. On return to scale, the rider reported that the gelding lost its action near the 400 metres and was eased down from this point. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities, however an endoscopic examination revealed a degree of EIPH which may have affected its performance. PATHWAY TO HONOUR (GB) - (S De Sousa): Shortly after the start, shifted in and bumped continuously with another runner for a short distance. . PILGRIM'S TREASURE (USA) - (R Mullen): Difficult to load. Trainer Mr S Seemar was advised that prior to the colt entering to race again, it must complete one satisfactory stalls test. SILENT BULLET (IRE) - (J Quinn): Slow to begin.

A post-race veterinary examination revealed the colt to have bled from both nostrils. Acting under the provisions of ERA Rule 21B(a)&(e), Trainer Mr R Bouresly was notified that the horse would not be permitted to exercise, train or race for a period of 21 days, and following must complete a satisfactory gallop in the presence of the ERA stewards or veterinary officer. ATTA ALLA (GB) - (J Rosales): Commenced awkwardly and lost ground CROWDED (GB) - (A Fresu): Stood flat-footed and lost ground (3 lengths). A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the right hind-leg. On arrival at the Equine Hospital for further assessment and treatment CROWDED (GB) was found to be deceased. A post-mortem will be conducted. FORTUNE WRITER (IRE) - (P Cosgrave): Slow to begin. Near the 400 metres, shifted out and brushed another runner. KALAMAZOO (USA) - (F Jara): On jumping, bumped another runner. Rounding the home turn near the 1200 metres, taken out of its course and in doing so took out other runners. LUMINEER (USA) - (J Quinn): Commenced awkwardly. MIGYAAS (USA) - (R Smithers): Commenced awkwardly. TALLOIRE (USA) - (T O'Shea): Near the 1200 metres, taken wider off its course by another runner.
