Trainer Mr D Watson was advised that prior to the gelding being entered to race again, he must provide a veterinary certificate of fitness for DANGEROUS THOUGHT (USA). STILL LIFE (GB) - (J Crowley): Bumped by another runner on jumping. BALLAD SINGER (GB) - (P Dobbs): When questioned regarding the performance of the gelding, the rider explained that BALLAD SINGER (GB) raced flat today and hung left in the straight. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities, however an endoscopic examination revealed a degree EIPH which may have affected its performance. DUBAWI'S THUNDER (GB) - (J Quinn): Shifted in on jumping and bumped another runner. SUGAR BOY (GER) - (R Ffrench): Commenced awkwardly and knuckled. General: Trainer Mr K Al Mazrouei (AZ RABDAN (AE)) was fined AED 500 under the provisions of ERA Rule 51(vii) for the late application to race the gelding with a tongue-tie. Stewards inquired into the reason for AZRAFF W'RSAN (AE)(S Hitchcott) having to be steadied near the 600 metres. On the evidence and available footage it was established that near the 600 metres, MAALY AL REEF (AE)(F Jara) which was racing greenly, shifted in and momentarily tightened the running of AZRAFF W'RSAN (AE), which had to be steadied. Jockey F Jara was advised to exercise more care in a similar situation.
