On the evidence and available footage it was established approaching the 300 metres SHARPALO (FR)(H Bentley) improved into a tight run to the inside of JAAREF (IRE)(D O'Neill), which shifted in slightly resulting in JUPITER LIGHT (GB), which was racing to the inside of SHARPALO (FR) being tightened for room and having to be restrained. At this stage of the race CARBON DATING (IRE)(T O'Shea) which was following SHARPALO (FR), had to be steadied off that gelding’s heels as well as being tightened for room by LIGHT THE LIGHTS (SAF)(A de Vries), which shifted in when laying in.
