SOY BRITANICO (ARG) - (T O'Shea): When questioned regarding the performance of the colt, the rider explained that SOY BRITANICO (ARG) raced ungenerously throughout and had a tendency to hang left throughout. He added for this reason he was unable to improve into a run on the fence over the concluding stages, as he would have liked. AL HARETH (IRE) - (C Beasley): Slow to begin, shifted out on jumping and bumped another runner. FIERCE ANGEL (IRE) - (P Sirigu): After being loaded into the barrier, became extremely fractious and flipped over. After being removed from the barrier, underwent a veterinary examination and was deemed unsuitable to race. Acting on veterinary advice, Stewards withdrew FIERCE ANGEL (IRE) at 6:29 pm. A subsequent veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Trainer Mr D Murphy was advised that prior to the colt entering to race again, it must complete one satisfactory stalls test. JABIR (USA) - (R Mullen): Raced wide without cover throughout. JOCKEY JOE (USA) - (S Hitchcott): Slow to begin. SKYRIDER (USA) - (P Dobbs): Bumped on jumping. AHLAN EMARATI (IRE) - (A de Vries): Bumped on jumping then tightened for room shortly after. MATHEMATICS (GB) - (P Dobbs): As the gates opened, the gelding reared and got its head across the barrier divider. As a result, MATHEMATICS (GB) lost considerable ground (10 lengths). When questioned regarding the riding of the gelding, P Dobbs explained that after losing a lot of ground at the start, he did not ride MATHEMATICS (GB) along as there may have been something amiss with the gelding. He added that rounding the turn and in the straight MATHEMATICS (GB) commenced to make ground on the field, however, he was of the belief that the horse was already out of contention. Trainer Mr D Watson was further advised that prior to the gelding entering to race again, it must complete one satisfactory stalls test. GERVAIS (USA) - (C Beasley): Slow to begin and lost ground. TICKET HOLDER (USA) - (B Pereira): Shifted out on jumping. AJWAD (GB) - (J Egan): Shifted in on jumping and bumped another runner. PARANORMAL (IRE) - (S Hitchcott): A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have bled from both nostrils.
