AF SEUFI (AE) - (G Mešetovic): Had to be checked of heels near the 400 metres. ES KRAM (AE) - (B Pinheiro): Bumped on jumping. AF MOBASHER (AE) - (A Al Siyabi): Shifted out on jumping and bumped another runner. AF KHAFAJEH (AE) - (I Poullis): Bumped on jumping. AF SHUZZA (AE) - (P Sirigu): Commenced awkwardly, shifted out and bumped another runner. General: Trainer Mr M Al Shamsi (AF SEUFI (AE)) was fined AED 250 under the provisions of ERA Rule 28(iii) for the use of the ERA colours. Stewards inquired into the reason for AF SEUFI (AE)(G Mešetovic) having to be checked near the 400 metres. On the evidence and available footage, it was established that near the 400 metres AF MEGHWAAR (AE)(A McLean) shifted in resulting in AF SEUFI (AE) being tightened onto the heels of HEBAYEB AL GHARBIA (AE) and having to be checked. Stewards noted that Apprentice A Mclean did attempt to straighten his mount soon after AF MEGHWAAR (AE) shifted ground inwards and therefore was issued with a reprimand under the provisions of ERA Rule 69(i).
