Trainer Mr A Al Shamsi was advised that prior to the gelding entering to race again, it must complete one satisfactory stalls test. FALCON'S VIEW (GB) - (W Lee): Eased down by its rider near the 600 metres. When questioned, the rider explained that near the 800 metres FALCON'S VIEW (GB) appeared to slip behind and felt uncomfortable in its action thereafter. He added for this reason he eased the gelding out of the race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have a fracture to its left fore-pastern. Trainer Mr H Al Alawi was advised that prior to the gelding being entered to race again, he must complete a suitability examination of FALCON'S VIEW (GB) conducted by an ERA Veterinarian. Mr H Al Alawi was further advised to report any changes in the gelding’s condition over the following days. JUST PRETEND (USA) - (P Cosgrave): Began awkwardly and lost considerable round (6 lengths). Trainer Mr S Seemar was advised that prior to the gelding entering to race again, it must complete one satisfactory stalls test. MABROOK (GB) - (R Mullen): Rider dropped his left side rein near the 200 metres. SHORT DISTANCE (USA) - (A McLean): On jumping bumped by another runner. On return to scale the rider advised that the gelding hung left throughout. WHITE SKY (IRE) - (B Curtis): Slow to begin and lost ground. SKYRIDER (USA) - (P Dobbs): On jumping shifted out and bumped another runner.

WAY OF WISDOM (GB) - (T O'Shea): On arrival at the barrier underwent a veterinary examination after blood was found in its mouth and passed suitable to race. Slow to begin. ALRAASED (USA) - (D O'Neill): A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities, however an endoscopic examination revealed a degree of EIPH which may have affected its performance. RAAFID (GB) - (F Jara): On jumping bumped by another runner and lost ground. STRONG CHEMISTRY (GB) - (N Parmar): Began awkwardly. ZAIN EMPIRE (GB) - (E Chaves): Hung out under pressure from the 600 metres. HAMMURABI (IRE) - (A Fresu): After being slow to begin, checked off heels when taken in by another runner. Rider dropped his whip near the 600 metres. Stewards took into account that this was B Curtis’s second breach of this Rule for the season.
