ANTIMO (GB) - (B Curtis): Hampered on jumping shifted out and bumped another runner. CODED (USA) - (P Dobbs): Bumped with another runner on several occasions over the concluding stages. CRAFTING (IRE) - (F Veron): Shortly after the start bumped by another runner. When questioned regarding the performance of the colt, the rider could offer no explanation other than CRAFTING (IRE) may have pulled up short in its action. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. DOLMEN (FR) - (R Mullen): On jumping shifted out and bumped another runner. DRESS COAT (GB) - (X Ziani): On jumping shifted in and bumped another runner. Hung left in the straight and bumped with another runner on several occasions. Raced wide without cover from the 1200 metres. MAHFOODH (GB) - (C Beasley): On jumping brushed by another runner. On return to scale when questioned regarding the performance of the gelding, the rider could offer no explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be mildly lame in both forelegs. MAJESTIC THUNDER (IRE) - (T O'Shea): On the way to the barriers harmlessly dislodged its rider before galloping for a short distance. As a result was examined by the Veterinarian and was passed suitable to race. Jockey T O’Shea was also examined prior to the start by the Club’s Doctor was passed fit to fulfill his engament. Slow to begin and then hampered. Hung left when under pressure in the straight. Raced wide without cover throughout. MANHUNTER (USA) - (C Hayes): Began awkwardly. WHITE SKY (IRE) - (R Ffrench): Near the 1200 metres bumped by another runner. WINGS OF GOLD (IRE) - (A Fresu): On jumping shifted in and bumped another runner. WELD ALDAR (GB) - (F Jara): On jumping bumped between runners. RAYIG (GB) - (S Hitchcott): On jumping shifted out hampered another runner.

A post-race veterinary examination revealed the colt to be mildly lame in the left foreleg. CACHAO (GB) - (T O'Shea): Stood flat footed and lost ground (4 lengths). POWDERHOUSE (IRE) - (D O'Neill): Over-raced in the early stages. TAILOR'S ROW (USA) - (X Ziani): Raced wide without cover for the majority of the race. Passing the 1300 metres hampered by another runner. Approaching the 300 metres had to be steadied to avoid the heels of another runner. HUCKLEBUCK (USA) - (C Beasley): Began awkwardly. SHEEBA (GB) - (S Hitchcott): Passing the winning post on the first occasion was crowded for room between other runners. PERTINACIOUS (USA) - (O Doleuze): On jumping bumped another runner and lost ground. Raced wide without cover in the early stages. MUWAALY (GB) - (A de Vries): On jumping bumped another runner. When questioned regarding the improved performance of the gelding, Trainer Mr E Charpy stated that the gelding had been disappointing in its most recent starts and that today from the favourable barrier, a drop in weight combined with the way in which the race planned out General: Jockey D O’Neill (POWDERHOUSE (IRE) was advised to exercise more care when shifting ground, in that on straightening he allowed his mount to shift in resulting in TAILOR'S ROW (USA)(X Ziani) having to be steadied when placed closed to the heels POWDERHOUSE (IRE).

Near the 1500 metres had to be checked when tightened for room between runners and clipped the heels of another runner. Lost its left fore-shoe in running. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the filly to be mildly lame in the left foreleg. General: Trainer Mr R Bouresly (PHALASTEEN (USA)) was fined AED 500 under the provision of ERA Rule 51(vi)(d) for declaring a rider without confirming the engagement with the rider or rider’s agent.

Near the 1200 metres restrained and shifted out when placed close to the heels of another runner. MUSTARRID (IRE) - (S Hitchcott): Commenced awkwardly. Hung right when under pressure in the straight. Near the 200 metres when lay right, bumped with another runner, before shifting out and again bumping another runner. Lost its left fore-shoe during the race. CONCLUSION (JPN) - (O Doleuze): Shortly after the start had to be steadied when tightened between runners. INVINCIBLE STRIKE (IRE) - (A Fresu): Commenced awkwardly. MUTAMAKKIN (USA) - (F Jara): Raced three-wide without cover throughout. General: Stewards inquired into the reason for VALE DO SOL (IRE)(A de Vries) having to be steadied near the 200 metres. On the evidence and available footage it was established that near the 200 metres VALE DO SOL (IRE) had to be steadied when tightened for room between MUSTARRID (IRE)(S Hitchcott), which shifted out when laying out after bumping with SHARAMM (IRE)(C Hayes) and AZMAAM (IRE)(F Veron), which had shifted in whilst hanging in. Stewards were of the opinion that the tightening occurred due to a shift from both MUSTARRID (IRE) and AZMAAM (IRE), however felt that F Veron could have attempted to straighten his mount sooner than he did. Accordingly F Veron was advised to exercise more care in a similar situation.

A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Trainer Mr S bin Suroor was advised that prior to entering the gelding to race again, it must complete one satisfactory stalls test. AWAAREQ (IRE) - (J Crowley): Slow to begin. DUTCH MASTERPIECE (GB) - (R Tart): Hung right over the final 600 metres. On return to scale the rider advised that the gelding gave ground quickly when placed under pressure. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. LEGENDARY LUNCH (IRE) - (A de Vries): Lay right when placed under pressure. MIDLANDER (IRE) - (P Cosgrave): Steadied when hampered with another runner. EJBAAR (GB) - (R Mullen): On arrival at the barriers underwent a veterinary examination, at the request of its rider and was deemed unsuitable to race. Acting on Veterinary advice, Stewards ordered the late withdrawal of the gelding at 7:27PM. Trainer Mr S Seemar was advised that prior to the gelding being entered to race again, he must provide a veterinary certificate of fitness for EJBAAR (GB). THAMMIN (GB) - (J Crowley): Slow to begin. SHAJJY (IRE) - (B Curtis): Commenced awkwardly. RIFLESCOPE (IRE) - (T O'Shea): Commenced awkwardly.
