Acting under the provisions of ERA Rule 21B(a)&(e), Trainer Mr R Bouresly was notified that the gelding would not be permitted to exercise, train or race for a period of 21 days, and following must complete a satisfactory gallop in the presence of the ERA Stewards or veterinary officer. LYTHAM ST ANNES (IRE) - (P Dobbs): On jumping shifted in and bumped another runner. General: Jockey P Dobbs (PILLAR OF SOCIETY (IRE)) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under the provisions of ERA Rule 69(i), the particulars of the charge being that approaching the 1000 metres he permitted his mount to shift in when insufficiently clear of CIRCLE DREAM (IRE)(J Grzybowska) which had to be checked to avoid that gelding’s heels. P Dobbs had his license to ride in races suspended for two race meetings (21.04.2019 and 22.04.2019). In assessing penalty Stewards took into account P Dobbs’s good careless riding record and guilty plea.

MUDALLEL (IRE) - (C Beasley): Shifted out on jumping and bumped another runner. General: Jockey A Fresu (FURIA CRUZADA (CHI)) pleaded guilty to a charge under the provisions of ERA Rule 69B(a) for using the whip to excess, in that he used it on 16 occasions. A Fresu’s license to ride in races was suspended for 2 race meetings (21.04.2019 and 22.04.2019).
