DUBAI CANAL (GB) - (C Beasley): After being placed in its barrier became fractious getting its right hind leg on the side partition. Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was deemed to be lame in the right hind leg. Acting on veterinary advice, Stewards ordered the late withdrawal of the colt at 1:46pm. Trainer Mr S Seemar was advised that prior to entering the colt to race again, it must complete one satisfactory stalls test. Further Mr S Seemar was advised that prior to the colt being entered to race again, he must provide a veterinary certificate of fitness for DUBAI CANAL (GB). EMIRATES STATION (IRE) - (S Mazur): Commenced awkwardly and lost ground. GALAXY ROAD (USA) - (A Fresu): Slow to begin. SHANAGHAI CITY (USA) - (B Pinheiro): Making the course proper near the 900 metres, shifted out abruptly taking other runners off their course. SO HI SPEED (USA) - (P Cosgrave): Approaching the 900 metres was tightened for room and had to be checked off the heels of another runner. When questioned regarding the performance of the gelding, the rider explained that after being tightened for room near the 900 metres SO HI SPEED (USA) resented the kickback and failed to finish off the race as expected. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. LADY PARMA (USA) - (R Mullen): Near the 900 metres was hampered and eased off the heels of another runner.

HELLO (IRE) - (F Jara): Lay out under pressure from the 300 metres. RIVER OF GOLD (IRE) - (A Fresu): Commenced awkwardly. CALL SIGN (USA) - (P Graberg): A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have heat stress and as a result underwent treatment by the Dubai Equine Hospital veterinarian. OCEAN SNOW (USA) - (B Pinheiro): Slow to begin and raced wide without cover throughout. General: Jockey B Pinheiro (OCEAN SNOW (USA)) was reprimanded under the provisions of ERA Rule 69B(c)(ii) for using the whip on his mount when it was out of contention. Stewards took into account that this was B Pinheiro’s first breach of this rule for the season.
