When questioned regarding the performance of the gelding, the rider advised that the gelding did not feel right in its action. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. AL JAZI (AE) - (J Rosales): Slow to begin. KANDOOSH (AE) - (S Paiva): Slow to begin. General: Jockey X Ziani was examined by the Club’s Paramedic, subsequent to the running of this race and was deemed unfit to fulfill its remaining engagements. Trainer Mr H Al Hammadi (NAJEM AL RWASI (AE)) was reprimanded under the provisions of ERA Rule 68(i), in that he removed the horse from the course within 30 minutes of the completion of the race.
