On arrival at the barrier underwent a veterinary examination and was passed suitable to race. Saddle had to be re-adjusted on arrival at the barrier. Slow to begin. NASSEEM KB (FR) - (A Al Balushi): Raced wide without cover throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the horse to be lame in the right fore-leg. Trainer Mr K Al Neyadi was advised that prior to the horse being entered to race again, he must provide a veterinary certificate of fitness for NASSEEM KB (FR). ATHAB ALAWDA (AE) - (J Grzybowska): Slow to begin. ZAEEMA AL REEF (AE) - (Y Ben Djekidel): Dislodged rider leaving the parade ring, before being remounted. Rider was examined by the Club’s Medical Officer and passed fit to start. On arrival at the barrier underwent a veterinary examination and was passed suitable to race. Reared on jumping and lost ground. FUTOON (FR) - (F Veron): Raced greenly over the concluding stages. WHATS UP (US) - (J Rosales): Began awkwardly. WINKED (US) - (C Beasley): Lay out on straightening. HA AJAYEB (AE) - (S Paiva): Began awkwardly. Over-raced in the early stages. When questioned regarding the performance of the filly, the rider reported that in the early stages he restrained his mount between other runners as it showed a tendency to race erratically, until near the 1400 metres.
