DALIL DE CARRERE (FR) - (H Bentley): Raced wide without cover throughout. DREAM DE MONTJOI (FR) - (A Fresu): On jumping was bumped by another runner. AMIRAH (FR) - (S Paiva): Slow to begin. AIZ ALAWDA (AE) - (F Jara): On jumping shifted out and bumped another runner. ASIF (OM) - (F Veron): On jumping shifted out and hampered another runner. Lay out under pressure from the 300 metres. WAFI (FR) - (R Ffrench): On jumping was hampered by another runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the horse to have bled from both nostrils. Acting under the provisions of ERA Rule 21B(a)&(e), Trainer Mr A Daud was notified that the horse would not be permitted to exercise, train or race for a period of 21 days, and following must complete a satisfactory gallop in the presence of the ERA Stewards or veterinary officer.

MAHBOOB AL REEF (AE) - (S Hitchcott): Commenced awkwardly. Approaching the 700 metres bumped by another runner and had to be eased. RAHI (AE) - (P Cosgrave): On jumping was bumped by another runner. SAKB AL MAURY (AE) - (I Al Balushi): Commenced awkwardly and then bumped another runner losing ground. ODESSY (AE) - (S Mazur): Commenced awkwardly and shifted inwards abruptly. Over-raced in the early stages having to be eased off the heels of other runners. SAMA AL WATHBA (AE) - (G Bon): Saddle had to be re-adjusted on arrival at the barrier. Reared on jumping and bumped another runner. Approaching the 700 metres shifted in and bumped another runner. Rider advised that his saddle shifted near the 700 metres placing him at a disadvantage for the remainder of the race. UM AL ASAYEL (AE) - (R Mullen): Commenced awkwardly. Passing the 700 metres shifted out away from another runner. UM BANADEEJ (AE) - (H Bentley): On jumping shifted out and bumped another runner. General: Trainer Mr M Al Shamsi (UM BANADEEJ (AE)) was fined AED 500 under the provisions of ERA Rule 63(ii) for presenting the filly in the parade ring with the incorrect equipment. Stewards inquired into the reason for MAHBOOB AL REEF (AE)(S Hitchcott) being bumped and having to ease approaching the 700 metres. On the evidence and available footage it was established that approaching the 700 metres SAMA AL WATHBA (AE)(G Bon) improved to the inside of UM AL ASAYEL (AE)(R Mullen), as a result SAMA AL WATHBA (AE) raced in restricted room and shifted inwards onto MAHBOOB AL REEF (AE), which was bumped and had to be eased. Stewards advised Jockey G Bon to exercise more care in a similar situation.
