ES RUBBAN (AE) - (S Hitchcott): After being loaded in its barrier, reared and became cast. Underwent a veterinary examination and deemed unsuitable to race. Stewards ordered the late withdrawal of ES RUBBAN (AE) at 5:00pm. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Trainer Mr I Aseel was advised that prior to entering the colt to race again, it must complete one satisfactory stalls test. ES THOBAN (AE) - (S Mazur): Over-raced in the early stages. FAHD AL WATHBA (AE) - (F Jara): Stumbled on jumping. MAHBOOB AL REEF (AE) - (C Beasley): Slow to begin. MF MOSAFER (AE) - (S Al Balushi): Bumped on jumping. ORTAGON (AE) - (J Santiago): Began awkwardly. SARIM AL REEF (AE) - (C Lecoeuvre): Began awkwardly then shortly after taken out off his course. TAJ AL NASER (AE) - (S Paiva): Bumped on jumping. WAHB (AE) - (N Crosse): Began awkwardly. WARD DE REDAIM (AE) - (R Ffrench): On return to scale the rider advised that the colt did not feel right in its action throughout the race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the colt to be bi-laterally lame in front. Trainer Mr K Al Neyadi was advised that prior to the colt being entered to race again, he must provide a veterinary certificate of fitness for WARD DE REDAIM (AE). AJAYEB MLEEH (AE) - (A Al Balushi): Began awkwardly and lost ground. MRMR (AE) - (F Veron): Saddle had to be re-adjusted on arrival at the barrier. General: Trainer Mr M Al Shamsi (TAJ AL NASER (AE)) was fined AED 250 under the provisions of ERA Rule 31(i)(e) for failing to notify the ERA of the vaccination update to TAJ AL NASER (AE). Jockey T O’Shea (AF AL AHKAF (AE)) pled guilty to a charge of misconduct under the provisions of ERA Rule 11(m) in that on the way to the barriers he used inappropriate language in the vicinity of other people. T O’Shea was fined AED 500.
