When questioned regarding the performance of the gelding, the rider advised that after commencing awkwardly MAQAADEER (GB) never travelled well throughout. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. KIDD MALIBU (USA) - (S Al Balushi): After being fractious in the horsebox on the way to the track, underwent a veterinary examination and was deemed unsuitable to race. Acting on this advice, Stewards ordered the late withdrawal of the gelding at 6:06pm. Trainer Mr K Al Neyadi was advised that prior to the gelding being entered to race again, he must provide a veterinary certificate of fitness for KIDD MALIBU (USA).
