RARE NINJA (USA) - (R Ffrench): When questioned regarding the performance of the colt, the rider could offer no explanation. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. CARDSHARP (GB) - (X Ziani): On jumping shifted in and bumped another runner. HYDE PARK (GB) - (J Santiago): Marginally slow to begin then tightened for room between runners. MYSTIQUE MOON (GB) - (S Hitchcott): Reared on jumping and lost ground. POET'S SOCIETY (GB) - (J Rosales): On arrival on course underwent a veterinary examination by the ERA Veterinarian and was deemed unsuitable to race after being found to be lame in the left fore-leg. Acting on this advice, Stewards ordered the late withdrawal of the gelding at 3:17pm. Trainer Mr Y bin Ghilan was advised that prior to the gelding being entered to race again, it must complete a suitability examination conducted by the ERA Veterinarian. SHAMIKH (USA) - (R Curatolo): When questioned regarding the performance of the colt, the rider reported that SHAMIKH (USA) failed to respond to pressure throughout and noted that the colt was racing against a higher class than its most recent starts. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities, however an endoscopic examination revealed a degree of mucus that may have affected the colt’s performance. SHANAGHAI CITY (USA) - (F Veron): Began awkwardly. THE PERFECT CROWN (IRE) - (R Ffrench): Slow to begin. On return to scale it was reported that the colt to have bled from one nostril. An endoscopic examination revealed source of blood be from external trauma. General: Trainer Mr Y bin Ghilan (POET'S SOCIETY (GB)) was fined AED 250 under the provisions of ERA Rule 31(i)(e) for failing to notify the ERA of the vaccination update to POET'S SOCIETY (GB).
