A subsequent post-race veterinary examination revealed the colt to have a small abrasion and mildly lame in right hind-coronet. Shortly after the start shifted outwards abruptly dislodging its rider. Trainer Mr. A Al Hammadi was advised that prior to entering the colt to race again, it must complete one satisfactory stalls test. OCELOT (FR) - (B Pinheiro): Lay out rounding the home turn. MOOTAHADY (AE) - (R Iacopini): On jumping brushed another runner. RB KINDRED (US) - (A Al Balushi): Shifted in abruptly under pressure over the concluding stages. When questioned regarding the disappointing performance of the horse, the rider explained that RB TEXAS HOLD EM (US) did not appreciate racing on turf for the first occasion and when challenged near the 1200 metres, failed to respond to his riding. He added that on pulling up the horse appeared normal in its action. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Shortly after the start was bumped on the hindquarter by another runner. Approaching the 1400 metres had to be checked when tightened for room. ES AL PASHA (AE) - (Y Ben Djekidel): Commenced awkwardly, lost ground, shifted out and bumped another runner. Approaching the 1400 metres shifted in away from other runners. General: Stewards inquired into the reason for BOLEREAU (FR)(S Hitchcott) having to be checked near the 1400 metres. On the evidence and available footage it was established that approaching the 1400 metres BOLEREAU (FR) had to be checked when tightened for room by ES AL PASHA (AE)(Y Ben Djekidel), which shifted in when racing in restricted room to the inside of other runners. Stewards advised Jockey Y Ben Djekidel to exercise more care in a similar situation, however acknowledged that his horse was shifting away from other runners.

Correct weight was delayed due to Trainer Mr. Q Aboud (SUGAR BOY (GER)) which placed 2nd requested to view the photo finish. EDARAAT (GB) - (C Beasley): On jumping shifted in and hampered other runners. When questioned regarding the performance of the gelding, the rider explained that EDARAAT (GB) was disappointing and never responded to his riding throughout the race. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities, however an endoscopic examination revealed a degree of EIPH that may have affected the gelding’s performance.
