Race Horse Rider Replaced By Reason 1 FALCON CLAWS (USA) P Dobbs D O’Neill Injured 3 ROYAL SANDS (FR) P Dobbs A de Vries Injured 4 RIO ANGIE (USA) P Dobbs S Hitchcott Injured 5 GOLDEN GOAL (IRE) P Dobbs S Hitchcott Injured 6 TRADESMAN (USA) B Doyle R Mullen Unavailable Other Comments / Explanations: Horses that have not started in more than 365 days underwent a pre-race veterinary examination by the ERA Veterinarian and were passed suitable to race. DESERT SECRET (GB) - (C Beasley): Raced wide without cover in the early stages. TORNO SUBITO (IRE) - (S Hitchcott): Bumped on jumping and was tightened for room. Passing the winning post on the first occasion had to be steadied to avoid the heels of another runner. Approaching the 1000 metres improved onto the heels of another runner and had to be steadied. BEDOUINS BOY (IRE) - (P Cosgrave): Shifted out on jumping and bumped heavily with another runner. FALCON CLAWS (USA) - (D O’Neill): Slow to begin. Shortly after the start bumped with another runner and lost ground. SAND WARRIOR (USA) - (S Paiva): Shifted out on jumping. Raced wide without cover in the middle stages. SUN CUISINE (USA) - (F Jara): When questioned regarding the performance of the gelding, the rider advised that SUN CUISINE (USA) was agitated pre-race and felt the gelding did not relax during the race, which may explain today’s disappointing performance. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. General: Stewards inquired into the reason for TORNO SUBITO (IRE)(S Hitchcott) having to be steadied off heels passing the winning post on the first occasion. On the evidence and available footage it was established that passing the winning post on the first occasion, TORNO SUBITO (IRE) was tightened for room between ZABARDAST (USA)(R Ffrench), which shifted out slightly and LADY SNAZZ (USA)(R Mullen), which shifted in when being eased behind LITECOIN (IRE)(T O'Shea). Stewards advised Jockey R Mullen to exercise more care in a similar situation and took into account the minor shifted of ZABARDAST (USA).
