WAKEEL W'RSAN (AE) - (R Mullen): On straightening restrained by its rider when tightened for room. AF NASHRAH (AE) - (B Pinheiro): On jumping shifted in and bumped another runner. AF ALMAJHAZ (AE) - (S Al Balushi): Began awkwardly and bumped another runner. On straightening bumped another runner. SS JALMOD (AE) - (A de Vries): On straightening obliged to shift out when racing close to the heels of another runner resulting in it disappointed for a clear run. AF ATHABEH (AE) - (M Holmberg): On straightening bumped another runner. Raced wide without cover for the majority. AMANG ALAWDA (AE) - (E Chaves): Raced ungenerously in the straight shifting ground under pressure. BLUE DIAMOND (AE) - (P Cosgrave): Near the 1200 metres had to be eased. AF NAFECE (AE) - (S Hitchcott): On jumping taken in by another runner. General: Stewards inquired into the reason for AF ASHRAS (AE)(T O'Shea) being tightened near the 1200 metres. On the evidence and available footage it was established that AF ALMAJHAZ (AE)(S Al Balushi) which was over-racing shifted inwards slightly when being retrained, and tightened AF ASHRAS (AE) as a result. Stewards took into account the racing manners of AF ALMAJHAZ (AE) and advised S Al Balushi to exercise more care in a similar situation. Stewards inquired into the reason for WAKEEL W'RSAN (AE)(R Mullen) being restrained shortly after straightening. On the evidence and available footage it was established that shortly after straightening AMANG ALAWDA (AE)(E Chaves) shifted out under pressure obliging SS JALMOD (AE)(A de Vries) to shift out when racing close to the heels resulting in R Mullen having to restrain its mount. In determining the matter Stewards placed emphasis on R Mullen’s evidence that the interference was a racing incident, however Stewards advised E Chaves that in future he would be required to straighten his mounts sooner than he had on this occasion.

AF HAKEEM (AE) - (R Mullen): On arrival at the barrier underwent a veterinary examination and was found to be lame in the right-foot and deemed the horse unsuitable to race. Acting on veterinary advice, Stewards ordered the late withdrawal of AF HAKEEM (AE) at 6:29pm. Trainer Mr E Oertel was advised that prior to entering the horse to race again, he must produce a veterinary certificate of fitness for AF HAKEEM (AE). AF SAHWA (AE) - (E Chaves): Began awkwardly. Raced ungenerously in the early and middle stages. NAWARA SB (OM) - (F Veron): On arrival at course underwent a veterinary examination and was found to be injured on its right shoulder and right hind-leg and therefore deemed the mare unsuitable to race.
