JUST YOU WAIT (GB) - (A Fresu): On jumping shifted out and bumped another runner. Lay in over the concluding stages. BRIGHT START (USA) - (P Cosgrave): On jumping lay outwards. EMBLEM WARRIOR (USA) - (N Crosse): Fractious in the barrier prior to the start. On jumping was bumped and hampered between other runners. Trainer Mr S Seemar was advised that prior to entering the gelding to race again, it must complete one satisfactory stalls test. FIRST KID (USA) - (S Paiva): Began awkwardly and lost ground. RESIG (USA) - (C Beasley): Raced wide without cover from the 1200 metres. TEPUI (USA) - (C Lecoeuvre): On jumping checked when tightened for room between other runners shortly after the start. WONDERFUL SKY (USA) - (B Pinheiro): Commenced to lay out leaving the straight on the first occasion. Near the 1200 metres stumbled and dislodged its rider before collapsing. On attendance by the veterinary officer the colt was found to have suffered a catastrophic injury to its left fore-leg and was humanely euthanized. A post-mortem will be carried out. OBEYAAN (USA) - (A de Vries): On jumping lay in and bumped another runner. General: Jockey B Pinheiro was examined by the Medical Doctor and passed fit to fulfil his remaining engagements.

A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. MILLER'S HOUSE (USA) - (R Mullen): Stumbled on jumping and lost ground. Near the 500 metres bumped by another runner. When questioned regarding the disappointing performance of the colt the rider reported that MILLER'S HOUSE (USA) began only fairly then never travelled throughout. R Mullen added that when his mount was bumped near the 500 metres the colt appeared to have come to the end of its run. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. TWELFTHOFNEVERLAND (USA) - (N Crosse): Raced wide without cover for the majority. MUDALLEL (IRE) - (F Jara): On jumping shifted out and bumped another runner. Near the 1300 metres restrained off the heels of another runner. Near the 500 metres shifted out off heels and bumped another runner. KING OF ARMS (GB) - (R Ffrench): When questioned regarding the disappointing performance of the colt, the rider reported that KING OF ARMS (GB) did not travel throughout and failed to respond to his riding when placed under pressure. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. SUGAR BOY (GER) - (B Pinheiro): On jumping shifted out and bumped another runner. BEACHCOMBER BAY (IRE) - (N Crosse): Passing the 1500 metres tightened for room slightly and had to ease. Had difficulty obtaining clear running in the straight. RUA AUGUSTA (USA) - (H Bentley): Slow to begin. SADEEDD (USA) - (R Curatolo): On return to scale the rider reported that SADEEDD (USA) raced greenly throughout and may appreciate the addition of blinkers. IMPERIAL EMPIRE (GB) - (T O'Shea): Difficult to load. Lay in under pressure from the 300 metres. Trainer Mr S Seemar was advised that prior to entering the gelding to race again, it must complete one satisfactory stalls test. MADAME ELLINGTINA (GB) - (R Mullen): On jumping hampered when bumped between other runners. KANOOD (USA) - (A de Vries): On jumping bumped by another runner. General: Stewards inquired into the reason for BEACHCOMBER BAY (IRE)(N Crosse) being tightened for room passing the 1500 metres and having to ease. On the evidence and available footage it was established that passing the 1500 metres SADEEDD (USA)(R Curatolo) momentarily shifted inwards tightening BEACHCOMBER BAY (IRE) who had to take back as a result. Stewards advised R Curatolo to exercise more in a similar situation and took into account the racing manners of SADEEDD (USA).
