AF AL SAJANJLE (AE) - (T O’Shea): Trainer advised that the horse lost its left front-plate during the race. AOUN (FR) - (A Fresu): Passing the 300 metres was bumped and carried inwards by another runner. BARRELAMAN (QA) - (H Bentley): Commenced awkwardly. DAGUI LOTOIS (FR) - (C Beasley): Passing the winning post on the first occasion had to be eased when racing in restricted room. RB TEXAS HOLD EM (US) - (P Dobbs): Difficult to load. Trainer Mr D Waston was advised that prior to entering the horse to race again, it must complete one satisfactory stalls test. AMWAJ (FR) - (F Veron): Commenced awkwardly and lost ground. Passing the 300 metres shifted in under pressure and bumped another runner. General: Stewards inquired into the reason for AOUN (FR)(A Fresu) being bumped passing the 300 metres. On the evidence and available footage it was established that passing the 300 metres AMWAJ (FR)(F Veron) shifted in under pressure and bumped AOUN (FR), resulting in that horse being carried inwards. Stewards noted that Jockey F Veron attempted to straighten his mount however advised him to exercise more care in a similar situation.

Near the 1200 metres got its head up when being restrained and tightened for room. BEDOUIN'S STORY (GB) - (L Dettori): Slow to begin. Near the 1400 metres checked when tightened for room. FAMOUS WOLF (FR) - (F Jara): Over-raced in the early stages, proving difficult to ride. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have bled from both nostrils. Acting under the provisions of ERA Rule 21B(a)&(e), Trainer Mr A bin Harmash was notified that the gelding would not be permitted to exercise, train or race for a period of 21 days, and following must complete a satisfactory gallop in the presence of the ERA Stewards or veterinary officer. CHANCE (GB) - (J Doyle): Held up for a clear run at the 300 metres and again over the final 100 metres. MOUNT PELION (IRE) - (P Dobbs): Held up for a clear run from the 300 metres until approaching the 200 metres. MOQTARREB (GB) - (J Crowley): Near the 1400 metres became unbalanced when bumped by another runner. ZAINHOM (USA) - (A Fresu): Near the 1400 metres had to be restrained when racing in restricted room. DUBAI LEGACY (USA) - (P Cosgrave): Stood flat-footed and lost ground (10 lengths). Near the 1400 metres restrained when racing in restricted room. Held up for a clear run rounding the home turn. Trainer Mr S bin Suroor was advised that prior to entering the gelding to race again, it must complete one satisfactory stalls test. General: Jockey H Crouch (DUBAI MIRAGE (IRE)) was questioned regarding his riding in the early stages of the race, particularly whether he could of given other runners to his inside more room near the 1400 metres. H Crouch explained that his horse over-raced in the early stages and had a tendency to hang inwards, following FAMOUS WOLF (FR) on an inwards course. Given the racing manners of several of the other horses to H Crouch’s inside, Stewards did not feel comfortable to solely attribute his actions for the incident. H Crouch was advised to exercise more care when shifting ground and that the onus was always placed on the rider who shifts ground to be fully clear of other runners.
