General: Trainer Mr. O Aashour (DESERT (AE)) was fined AED 250 under the provisions of ERA Rule 28(iii), for the use of the ERA colours. Stewards inquired into the reason for LAHOOB (AE)(S Al Balushi) losing ground near the 1100 metres. On the evidence and available footage it was established that near the 1100 metres AZAZI (AE)(B Pinheiro) shifted inwards while improving quickly to the outside of that colt, resulting in LAHOOB (AE) momentarily being tightened and losing ground. Stewards advised B Pinheiro to exercise more care when shifting ground in a similar situation.

As this was the second occasion AAHID AL KHALEDIAH II (SA) has bled, acting under the provisions of ERA Rule 21B(a)&(e), Trainer Mr. H Alalawi was notified that the horse would not be permitted to exercise, train or race for a period of 90 days, and following must complete a satisfactory gallop in the presence of the ERA stewards or veterinary officer.
