JUMOUH NF (FR) - (G Sanchez): Commenced awkwardly and bumped by another runner. Near the 900 metres eased off the heels of another runner. SAIF AL BEDA'A (AE) - (F Jara): On jumping knuckled and shortly after hampered when bumped heavily by another runner. Approaching the 1200 eased off the heels of another runner. Near the 900 metres had to be checked. SYVALEREU AL MAURY (FR) - (P Cosgrave): On jumping brushed by another runner. SAWA (AE) - (R Dawson): Slow into stride. AF MUTAKAFEL (AE) - (T O'Shea): On jumping shifted out and brushed another runner. Raced wide without cover from the 900 metres. BSHARA (FR) - (R Mullen): Approaching the 1200 metres bumped on the hind-quarter by another runner. GEMSTONE DIXIE (US) - (D O'Neill): On jumping bumped heavily with another runner. MAYASAT AL HOSEN (AE) - (M Staiti): Commenced awkwardly. Near the 900 metres eased off the heels of another runner. General: Stewards inquired into the reason for SAIF AL BEDA'A (AE)(F Jara) and AL ASHHAB MAJAN (AE)(S Kirrane) having to be checked near the 900 metres. On the evidence and available footage it was established that SAIF AL BEDA'A (AE) had to be checked off the heels of AL ASHHAB MAJAN (AE) which had to be restrained off JUMOUH NF (FR), which eased due to the racing manners of AZ MABKOOT (AE)(S Al Balushi), which had commenced to race ungenerously. Further, as this incident was occurring MAYASAT AL HOSEN (AE)(M Staiti) shifted out marginally when racing onto the heels of MIRQAB (US)(A Al Balushi) thereby, taking SYVALEREU AL MAURY (FR)(P Cosgrave) on an outwards course, which may have contributed to the tightening of AL ASHHAB MAJAN (AE). As Stewards could not attribute blame to any one rider for this incident, it was reported as a racing incident and all riders were advised to exercise more care in a similar situation.

AL MURTAJEL (US) - (S Al Balushi): Raced wide without cover General: Stewards inquired into the reason for ES ABU MOUSA (AE)(S Paiva) having to be checked near the 900 metres. On the evidence and available footage it was established that near the 900 metres ES ABU MOUSA (AE) had to be checked when tightened for between AF NAFECE (AE)(G Malune) and ASTRAL DEL SOL (FR)(S Kirrane). Due to the evidence tendered and limited footage of the incident, Stewards could not attribute blame to any one rider and therefore reported the matter as a racing incident and advised all riders to exercise more care in a similar situation. Apprentice G Sanchez (AF MOHANAK (AE)) was fined AED 2000, under the provisions of ERA Rule 69B(c)(i) for hitting his mount in front of the saddle whilst holding the whip in the forehand. Stewards took into account that this was G Sanchez’s second breach of this Rule for the season.
