Near the 350 metres was bumped by another runner on multiple occasions when disappointed for clear running. KLIMT STREET (USA) - (P Cosgrave): Commenced awkwardly. Lay in under pressure near passing the 400 metres. MUQATEL (USA) - (R Ffrench): Commenced awkwardly, shifted in and bumped another runner. Raced green in the early stages. SEVEN DRUMS (USA) - (P Dobbs): Slow to begin and lost ground. When questioned regarding the disappointing performance of the colt, the rider advised that SEVEN DRUMS (USA) never travelled well throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the colt to have cardiac arrhythmia. Trainer Mr. D Watson was notified that prior to the colt entering to race again it must perform a satisfactory gallop in the presence of an ERA veterinary officer and lodge a veterinary report stating that SEVEN DRUMS (USA) is displaying a normal ECG after the gallop. The official gallop may only be performed fourteen (14) days after the event. SEYAASI (USA) - (R Mullen): Fractious in the barrier prior to the start and as a result underwent a veterinary examination, being passed suitable to race. Bumped on jumping. Near the 1000 metres had to be eased when tightened for room. Near the 350 metres bumped another runner on multiple occasions. Trainer Mr. S bin Ghadayer was advised that prior to entering the colt to race again, it must complete one satisfactory stalls test. SILVER JUBILEE (IRE) - (S Hitchcott): Slow to begin and lost ground. General: Stewards inquired into the reason for CLASSIC CITY (USA)(T O'Shea) being taken in off its rightful running near the 1000 metres. On the evidence and available footage it was established that near the 1000 metres MUQATEL (USA)(R Ffrench) shifted inwards, when racing green, resulting in SEYAASI (USA)(R Mullen) having to be eased and CLASSIC CITY (USA) being taken inwards and having to be restrained. Stewards noted the evidence from the riders that the incident occurred at the point of the track where there was no running rail. Nevertheless, Jockey R Ffrench was reprimanded under the provisions of ERA Rule 69(i) for careless riding. Stewards inquired into the reason for CLASSIC CITY (USA)(T O'Shea) being bumped on multiple occasions near the 350 metres. On the evidence and available footage it was established that near the 350 metres KLIMT STREET (USA)(P Cosgrave) shifted inwards tightening and bumping SEYAASI (USA)(R Mullen) in onto CLASSIC CITY (USA), which was also bumped on multiple occasions. Jockey P Cosgrave was reprimanded under the provisions of ERA Rule 69(i) for careless riding.

As this was the second occasion LEADERSHIP (IRE) has bled, acting under the provisions of ERA Rule 21B(a)&(e), Trainer Mr. H Alalawi was notified that the gelding would not be permitted to exercise, train or race for a period of 90 days, and following must complete a satisfactory gallop in the presence of the ERA stewards or veterinary officer. When questioned regarding the disappointing performance of the gelding, the rider advised that in his opinion RANAAN (USA) is not suited to the Jebel Ali surface.
