Other Comments and Explanations: Visiting Trainer Mr. K de Burca pleaded guilty and was fined AED 500 under the provisions of ERA Rule 62(i), in that he failed to be wearing a helmet, whilst mounted on a horse at Green Stables. Further, Mr. K de Burca pleaded guilty and was fined AED 500 under the provisions of ERA Rule 62(vii), in that he failed to be wearing a safety vest, whilst mounted on a horse at Green Stables. AL MOOHAAJIM (IRE) - (A Fresu): On jumping shifted in and bumped another runner. KIWANO (FR) - (C Shepherd): After becoming fractious in the parade ring and bumping the rail, underwent a veterinary examination on arrival at the barriers and was passed suitable to race. Commenced awkwardly. SILENT SPEECH (GB) - (W Buick): Commenced awkwardly, bumped another runner and lost ground. Commenced to lay out under pressure from the 300 metres. FREYABELLA (GB) - (R Mullen): Raced ungenerously in the early stages and had to be eased when tightened for room approaching the 1000 metres. SAFRA (USA) - (A Atzeni): On return to scale the rider advised that in his opinion the filly will be better suited to racing over a further distance than today’s event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the filly to be mildly lame in the left fore-leg. WILD PLACE (IRE) - (L Steward): Difficult to load. Slow to begin. Trainer Mr. S bin Suroor was advised that prior to entering the filly to race again, he must complete one satisfactory stalls test. General: Stewards inquired into the reason for FREYABELLA (GB)(R Mullen) being eased approaching the 1000 metres. On the evidence and available footage it was established that approaching the 1000 metres HOME CITY (IRE)(L Dettori) commenced to shift outwards and momentarily tightened the running of FREYABELLA (GB), which had to be eased. Stewards accepted the evidence tendered by R Mullen that FREYABELLA (GB) was racing ungenerously during this incident, however advised L Dettori to exercise more care when permitting his mount to shift ground.
