General: Trainer Mr. A Daud (HADHEEL (FR)) was fined AED 250 under the provisions of ERA Rule 28(iii), for use of the ERA colours.

SATTAM MUSCAT (OM) - (A Al Balushi): Lay out under pressure in the straight AF DALOO (AE) - (S Al Balushi): Near the 1100 metres was hampered by another runner. BORAQ EL MEDAM (AE) - (F Bizzarri): After a confirmed telephone call from the Stable, advising the colt injured itself being loaded onto the horsebox, Stewards ordered the late withdrawal of the colt at 4:20pm. Trainer Mr. H Al Hamida was advised that prior to the colt entering to race again he must provide a veterinary certificate of fitness for BORAQ EL MEDAM (AE). HAKAAM (AE) - (A de Vries): Began awkwardly. HONEYD (AE) - (D O'Neill): Slow to begin. MAWOUD AL BEDA'A (AE) - (S Paiva): Approaching the 1200 metres shifted out abruptly and then was eased out of the race. On return to scale the rider reported that approaching the 1200 metres the colt was reluctant to race amongst other horses and then shifted out abruptly, resulting in the bit shifting through the horse’s mouth. Lost its right fore-plate during the race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the colt to have a poor recovery. NO RISK AT ALL (NL) - (P Cosgrave): Raced ungenerously in the early and middle stages. Near the 1100 metres shifted out and hampered another runner. Raced ungenerously rounding the turn near the 500 metres. LAMOUAA (AE) - (S Hitchcott): Began awkwardly. SOUKAINAH (AE) - (R Ffrench): Became extremely fractious in the barrier and flipped over, underwent a veterinary examination and was deemed unsuitable to race. Acting on this advice, Stewards ordered the late withdrawal of the filly at 5:31pm. Trainer Mr. J-C Pecout was advised that prior to entering the filly to race again, it must complete one satisfactory stalls test. A subsequent post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. WADHEHA (AE) - (B Pinheiro): Lay out rounding the home turn and in the straight.

Passing the 400 metres lay out under pressure. ORTAGON (AE) - (P Cosgrave): Began awkwardly. RAHAAL AL WATHBA (AE) - (B Pinheiro): Slow to begin. General: Stewards queried Jockey S Hitchcott (AF FAKHAMA (AE)) for the reason into him failing to ride his mount out to the finish. S Hitchcott explained that the gelding had travelled well, however weakened quickly in the straight and in his opinion maybe feeling the effects of recent racing. As Stewards did not feel that S Hitchcott’s action in failing to ride his mount over the concluding 50 metres cost AF FAKHAMA (AE) a place, however were of the view that S Hitchcott could have ridden out at least hands and heels, S Hitchcott was reprimanded under the provisions of ERA Rule 69(iii) for failing to ride his mount out to the end of the race, to the satisfaction of the Stewards.

AF SAHWA (AE) - (F Bizzarri): Began awkwardly, shifted out and bumped another runner. General: Trainer Mr. I Al Hadhrami (RB SUPER DUTY (US)) was fined AED 250 under the provisions of ERA Rule 28(iii), for use of the ERA colours. Jockey A M Al Balushi (RB SUPER DUTY (US)) was reprimanded, under the provisions of ERA Rule 69B(a) for using the whip to excess, in that he used it on 13 occasions. Stewards took into account that this was A M Al Balushi’s first breach of this Rule for the season.
