BINT ALAIN (AE) - (B Pinheiro): Began awkwardly, shifted out and lost ground. Lay out throughout the race. NAZAA (AE) - (S Paiva): Began awkwardly. Raced ungenerously from the 400 metres. Near the 350 metres hampered when eased off the heels of another runner. QALB ALMUTAWA (AE) - (S Kirrane): Began awkwardly and lost ground. Near the 1200 metres bumped another runner. AF LAYALY (FR) - (T O'Shea): Near the 1200 metres shifted outwards and bumped another runner. Near the 350 metres shifted out and hampered another runner then lay in for the remainder of the race. RAYAT AL IZZ (FR) - (A Fresu): Raced ungenerously in the early stages. HOB SEDDIQ (AE) - (G Malune): Slow to begin. Passing the 1400 metres shied outwards, blundered and lost ground. General: Stewards inquired into the reason for AF AL SHAREA'A (AE)(M Holmberg) being tightened for room near the 1200 metres. On the evidence and available footage it was established that near the 1200 metres AF AL SHAREA'A (AE)(M Holmberg) was checked and lost ground when tightened for room between QALB ALMUTAWA (AE)(S Kirrane) that was racing to the outside of that mare, and AF LAYALY (FR)(T O'Shea), which shifted out and made contact to AF AL SHAREA'A (AE). Due to insufficient video footage to support jockey evidence that QALB ALMUTAWA (AE) was taken in by RB KINDRED (US)(G Sanchez), as well as to the reason for AF LAYALYA shifting ground, Stewards could not establish to a reasonable standard the reasons for this interference, therefore reminded all riders to exercise care when shifting ground.
