SHALL LEE (AE) - (T Koyuncu): On return to scale the rider advised that the horse would benefit from having its first start after a considerable break. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormalities other than a cut to its right hind leg, however an endoscopic examination revealed a degree of mucus that may have affected the horse’s performance. Trainer Mr. A Daud was advised that prior to the horse entering to race again he must provide a veterinary certificate of fitness for ES ABU MOUSA (AE).

ITCHY DE NACRE (FR) - (M Rodrigues): Over the concluding stages had to be steadied off the heels of another runner. HAKAAM (AE) - (D O'Neill): Approaching the winning post, shifted out whilst under pressure before being corrected by its rider. OCTAVE (US) - (S Hitchcott): Bumped on jumping. REEM BAYNOUNAH (FR) - (A de Vries): Slow to begin. Passing the winning post on the first occasion had to be steadied when racing in restricted room. ASIF (OM) - (Q Al Busaidi): Slow to begin. Raced wide without cover in the early and middle stages. AF MUKHREJ (AE) - (T O'Shea): Commenced awkwardly. MAQAM (AE) - (S Al Balushi): Slow to begin and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the left fore-leg. Trainer Mr. K Al Neyadi was advised that prior to entering the gelding to race again it must pass a suitability examination conducted by an ERA Veterinarian. ES ABU MOUSA (AE) - (K Al Balushi): After arriving at the track, underwent a veterinary examination when being fractious in the horse-box when being transported to the course and was found to be lame in the left fore-leg. Acting on this advice, Stewards ordered the late withdrawal of the horse at 1:47pm. Trainer Mr. A Daud was advised that prior to the horse entering to race again he must provide a veterinary certificate of fitness for ES ABU MOUSA (AE).
