MARYNDER (FR) - (R Dawson): Passing the 300 metres was tightened for room and had to severely check. SENDEED (IRE) - (O Chavez): Passing the 300 metres taken inwards by another runner and momentarily tightened for room. NEW MISSION (GB) - (Saif Al Balushi): Slow to begin, brushed another runner and lost ground. Raced keen in the early stages. TABARAK (USA) - (R Mullen): Commenced awkwardly. General: Stewards inquired into the reason for MARYNDER (FR)(R Dawson) having to severely check passing the 300 metres. On the evidence and available footage it was established that passing the 300 metres FANAAR (IRE)(D O'Neill) shifted inwards marginally when improving through the field. resulting in RODAINI (USA)(P Cosgrave), which was under pressure laying inwards onto SENDEED (IRE)(O Chavez), which was taken inwards onto MARYNDER (FR)(R Dawson), who was tightened for room and had to be severely checked. Stewards noted the comments from the riders and as there was insufficient video footage, advised all riders to exercise more care in a similar situation, reporting it as a racing incident. Jockey O Chavez (SENDEED (IRE)) was fined AED 1000, under the provisions of ERA Rule 11(m) for improper conduct, in that after the race he used inappropriate language towards Jockey R Dawson. Jockey R Dawson (MARYNDER (FR)) was fined AED 1000, under the provisions of ERA Rule 11(m) for improper conduct, in that after the race he used inappropriate language towards Jockey O Chaves. Further, R Dawson was fined AED 1000, under the provisions of ERA Rule 11(e) for providing evidence during this enquiry that in the opinion of the Stewards was misleading.
