AFANDEE BAYNOUNAH (AE) - (O Chavez): After a confirmed phone call that the horsebox has broken down and would not be able to arrive on the estimated time of the race, Stewards ordered the late withdrawal of AFANDEE BAYNOUNAH (AE) at 3:20pm. CAESAR HAWRAN (AE) - (B Pinheiro): Over the concluding stages brushed another runner. Lay outwards in the straight. FARRAAN (AE) - (A Fresu): Over the concluding stages brushed another runner. MUBHIR MKA (AE) - (F Jara): Eased down in the middle stages. On return to scale the rider advised that something felt amiss in the colt’s action and for this reason he eased MUBHIR MKA (AE) out of the race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the colt to have cardiac arrhythmia. Trainer Mr. A S Al Shamsi was notified that prior to the colt entering to race again it must perform a satisfactory gallop in the presence of an ERA veterinary officer and lodge a veterinary report stating that MUBHIR MKA (AE) is displaying a normal ECG after the gallop.
