SEYAASI (USA) - (J Van Overmeire): When questioned regarding the performance of the colt, the rider advised that SEYAASI (USA) failed to respond to his riding when placed under pressure. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. GLIDING BAY (GB) - (Q Al Busaidi): Raced ungenerously in the early and middle stages. DARK OF NIGHT (IRE) - (A Al Balushi): On arrival on course, underwent a veterinary examination and revealed the gelding to be lame in the right fore-leg. Trainer Mr. S Al Ghunaimi was advised that prior to the gelding entering to race again he must provide a veterinary certificate of fitness for DARK OF NIGHT (IRE). BRIDESMAN (IRE) - (T O'Shea): Raced wide without cover for the majority. EAST COAST ROAD (IRE) - (J da Silva): When questioned regarding the improved performance of the horse, Assistant Trainer Mr. C Piccioni advised that the horse had a history of being a bleeder during the early part of the season and with the addition of blinkers, EAST COAST ROAD (IRE) has been working well.

Stewards noted the racing manners of MUTHABIR (GB) and advised Jockey M Ghorli to exercise more care in a similar situation, reporting the matter as racing incident.
