Acting on this advice, Stewards ordered the late withdrawal of the horse at 3:57pm. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed the horse to have an injury to its left hip. Trainer Mr. M Al Shamsi was advised that prior to the horse entering to race again he must provide a veterinary certificate of fitness for TAQAASIM (AE). RAJEE (FR) - (B Pinheiro): Commenced awkwardly and bumped another runner. AL MAHBOOBA (FR) - (P Dobbs): Saddle had to be re-adjusted on arrival at the barrier. Bumped on jumping. LOOLWA (GB) - (A Fresu): Raced keen in the early and middle stages. AL THOURA (FR) - (R Dawson): Raced wide without cover early stages. ALRAZEEN (FR) - (S Paiva): After a confirmed phone call by Trainer Mr. H Alhamida that the gelding was lame, Stewards acceded to his request and ordered the late withdrawal of the geldig at 2:28pm. Trainer Mr. H Alhamida was advised that prior to the gelding entering to race again he must provide a veterinary certificate of fitness for ALRAZEEN (FR). BALAD AL REEF (AE) - (J Rosales): Slow to begin. Raced wide without cover middle stages. HAMAAN AL JASRA (FR) - (R Ffrench): On return to scale the rider reported that the horse felt lame. A post-race veterinary examination revealed HAMAAN AL JASRA (FR) to be lame in the left foreleg with a tendon injury. Trainer Mr. H Al Marar was advised that prior to the horse entering to race again he must complete a suitability examination conducted by an ERA veterinarian.
