A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be mildly lame in the right hind-leg. General: Stewards inquired into the reason for AL KHALEEJY (GB)(A Al Balushi) being steadied off the heels of another runner near the 800 metres. On the evidence and available footage it was established that AF ALAJAJ (FR)(T O'Shea) shifted out marginally and TABAASHEER (GB)(S Al Balushi) marginally shifted inwards resulting in AL KHALEEJY (GB) having to be steadied, who was racing in restricted room. As the Stewards could not attribute blame to any one rider, the incident was reported as a racing incident.
