FEKR ALMUTAWA (AE) - (R Ffrench): On return to scale the rider advised that the gelding felt short in its action over the concluding stages. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities however, an endoscopic examination revealed a degree of mucus that may have affected the performance of FEKR ALMUTAWA (AE). TIJAARY (FR) - (J da Silva): On jumping shifted in and bumped another runner. Passing the 400 metres bumped another runner. AF AL MOTAMEN (AE) - (T O'Shea): Passing the 400 metres bumped between runners. When questioned regarding the disappointing performance of horse, the rider advised that AF AL MOTAMEN (AE) stopped quickly when placed under pressure in the straight. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. EAULYMPIK (FR) - (Shakir Al Balushi): On jumping shifted out and bumped another runner. Raced wide without cover in the early and middle stages. On return to scale the rider advised that the saddle slipped during the middle stages and placed him at a disadvantage for the remainder of the race. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities however, an endoscopic examination revealed a degree of EIPH that may have affected the performance of EAULYMPIK (FR). CAESAR HAWRAN (AE) - (B Pinheiro): On jumping was bumped between runners. DESERT (AE) - (Q Al Busaidi): Commenced awkwardly and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the horse to be lame in the right fore-leg. Trainer Mr. K Al Neyadi was advised that prior to entering the horse to race again it must pass a suitability examination conducted by an ERA Veterinarian.
