ABSHREK (GB) - (O Chavez): Lay out under pressure rounding the home turn. BENZEMA (GB) - (R Ffrench): Fractious in the barriers prior to the start. Trainer Mr. S bin Ghadayer was advised that prior to the gelding being permitted to enter in a race it must complete a satisfactory stalls test. BILHAYL (IRE) - (J Van Overmeire): Commenced awkwardly. When questioned regarding the disappointing performance of the gelding, the rider advised that BILHAYL (IRE) travelled well in the early and middle stages, however when placed under pressure rounding the home turn did not quicken as expected. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. COLOUR UP (IRE) - (P Dobbs): Shifted in abruptly near the 400 metres before being corrected by its rider. LAKE CAUSEWAY (USA) - (T O'Shea): Slow to begin and lost ground. Lay out rounding the home turn. Raced wide without cover for the majority. When questioned regarding the disappointing performance of the gelding, the rider advised LAKE CAUSEWAY (USA) resented the kickback in the early stages of the race, however finished off the race satisfactorily. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the right hind-leg. Trainer Mr. B Seemar was advised that prior to the gelding entering to race again he must provide a veterinary certificate of fitness for LAKE CAUSEWAY (USA). GOOD TIME GAL (IRE) - (A Fresu): Commenced awkwardly, shifted in and bumped heavily with another runner when racing greenly. Raced ungenerously in the early and middle stages. On return to scale the rider advised that the filly resented the kickback throughout the race and as a result proved difficult to control in the early and middle stages, bumping the running rail on several occasions. HABOOBA (USA) - (R Dawson): Over the concluding stages shifted inwards abruptly. HUNTING LADY (USA) - (Saif Al Balushi): Race wide without cover in the middle stages. MIMI KAKUSHI (USA) - (R Ffrench): Commenced awkwardly, shifted out and bumped heavily on the hind-quarter by another runner. Near the 1200 metres had to be restrained when tightened for room by another runner which was racing erratically. NAFAS (USA) - (A de Vries): On jumping was severely tightened for room, had to be restrained and lost significant ground.
