When questioned regarding the performance of the colt the rider advised that JASSAR (USA) was agitated pre-race and that may have been the reason for its disappointing performance. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities, however an endoscopic examination revealed a degree of mucus which may have affected its performance.
