A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the left hind-leg. Brushed another runner on multiple occasions over the concluding stages. WALK OF STARS (GB) - (W Buick): On jumping was bumped by another runner and lost ground. Raced keen in the early stages. When questioned regarding the disappointing performance of the gelding, the rider advised that WALK OF STARS (GB) hung right in the early part of the straight and left over the concluding stages. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities, however an endoscopic examination revealed a degree of mucus which may have affected the gelding’s performance. MARCHING ARMY (GB) - (P Cosgrave): Fractious in the barrier prior to the start. Slow to begin and lost ground. Trainer Mr. S bin Suroor was advised that prior to the gelding being permitted to enter in a race it must complete one satisfactory stalls test.
