RAWY (USA) - (M Barzalona): On jumping bumped another runner. MY DUBAWI (IRE) - (T O'Shea): When questioned regarding the performance of the gelding, the rider advised that MY DUBAWI (IRE) raced flat throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be mildly lame in the right hind-leg. ALKARAAMA (USA) - (D O'Neill): Commenced awkwardly and was bumped between runners. COLOUR UP (IRE) - (P Dobbs): Commenced awkwardly. Shifted inwards abruptly on straightening. BEHAVIORAL BIAS (USA) - (P Cosgrave): When being saddled, became fractious and flipped over, hitting its head. Underwent a veterinary examination and was deemed unsuitable to race. Acting on this advice, Stewards ordered the late withdrawal of the gelding at 6:24pm. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed the gelding not moving freely and with mild pain over the rump. Trainer Mr. B Seemar was advised that prior to the gelding entering to race again he must provide a veterinary certificate of fitness for BEHAVIORAL BIAS (USA). ZHOU STORM (GB) - (A Fresu): On jumping shifted out bumped another runner. General: Jockey M Barzalona (RAWY (USA)) was fined AED 2000, under the provisions of ERA Rule 69B(c)(i) for hitting his mount forward of the saddle whilst holding the whip in the forehand. Stewards took into account that this was M Barzalona’s second breach of this Rule for the season.

ERZINDJAN (IRE) - (R Dawson): Bumped on jumping. Passing the 300 metres was tightened for room. I AM SUPERMAN (IRE) - (C Keane): Bumped on jumping. LAND OF LEGENDS (IRE) - (P Cosgrave): Marginally slow to begin. LASER SHOW (IRE) - (L Steward): Commenced awkwardly. Raced keen in the early stages. Raced wide without cover for the majority. SHELIR (IRE) - (D Tudhope): Commenced awkwardly and lost ground. Near the 300 metres shifted outwards off the heels of another runner to obtain a clear run. General: Stewards inquired into the reason for ERZINDJAN (IRE)(R Dawson) being tightened for room passing the 300 metres. On the evidence and available footage it was established that passing the 300 metres SHELIR (IRE)(D Tudhope), which had improved quickly onto the heels of MODERN NEWS (GB)(J Doyle), shifted outwards to obtain a clear run, resulting in ERZINDJAN (IRE), which had been shifting inwards, being momentarily tightened for room. Stewards noted that both horses shifted ground, however Jockey D Tudhope (SHELIR (IRE)) was reprimanded, under the provisions of ERA Rule 69(i) for careless riding.
