ALHZEEM (USA) - (J Van Overmeire): Raced wide without cover in the middle stages. Momentarily held up for a clear run rounding the home turn. EFTEKHAR (USA) - (O Chavez): On jumping was bumped between runners and lost ground. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the right fore-leg and have a cut in its left hind-pastern. Mr. R Bouresly was advised that prior to entering the gelding to race again, he must provide a veterinary certificate of fitness for EFTEKHAR (USA). MAWTINI (USA) - (A de Vries): Fractious in the barrier and broke through the gates, underwent a veterinary examination and was deemed unsuitable to race. Acting on this advice, Stewards ordered the late withdrawal of the gelding at 3:05pm. Trainer Mr. M Al Baidhaei was advised that prior to entering the gelding to race again, it must complete one satisfactory stalls test. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the right fore-leg. Mr. M Al Baidhaei was advised that prior to entering the gelding to race again, he must provide a veterinary certificate of fitness for MAWTINI (USA). SHAMRAN (USA) - (B Pinheiro): On jumping shifted out and hampered another runner. When questioned regarding the tactics in the straight approaching the 200 metres he shifted outwards to avoid the kickback. WAQET (USA) - (R Mullen): Shortly after the start was bumped by another runner. AL MOFTY (USA) - (G Malune): Commenced awkwardly. KLIMT STREET (USA) - (R Dawson): On jumping shifted out and bumped another runner. TRIPOLI MOON (IRE) - (M Rodrigues): Slow to begin and had to be steadied off the heels. MASHKOOR (USA) - (S Paiva): Commenced awkwardly and was bumped by another runner. Shortly after the start bumped another runner. General: Trainer Mr. R Bouresly (ORIENTAL WORLD (IRE)) was fined AED 500 under the provisions of ERA Rule 51(vii) for the late equipment change to race the gelding with a shadow roll.
