FRANZ KAFKA (IRE) - (R Mullen): En-route to the barrier stumbled on three occasions and the rider advised that the horse felt amiss. Following a veterinary examination which deemed FRANZ KAFKA (IRE) to be unsuitable to race, Stewards ordered the late withdrawal of the gelding at 4:46pm. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the right fore-leg. Trainer Mr. A bin Harmash was advised that prior to entering the gelding to race again, he must provide a veterinary certificate of fitness for FRANZ KAFKA (IRE). CELESTIAL SPHERES (IRE) - (F Jara): A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the right fore-leg and was transported to the Dubai Equine Hospital for further assessment. Trainer Mr. I Mohammed was advised that prior to entering the gelding to race again it must pass a suitability examination conducted by an ERA Veterinarian. POSTER PAINT (IRE) - (D O’Neill): Slow to begin, shifted out and bumped another runner. Had difficulty obtaining a clear run in straight for a short distance. SARI DUBAI (USA) - (P Dobbs): Marginally slow to begin. AHESTA BERO (GB) - (J da Silva): Fractious in the barrier prior to the start.
