AL MUSTAFIZ (QA) - (A Al Siyabi): Slow to begin. AMJAAD (QA) - (Q Al Busaidi): Commenced awkwardly and lost ground. BAHAR MUSCAT (OM) - (R Dawson): On jumping shifted out and brushed another runner. When questioned regarding the performance of the colt, the rider advised that BAHAR MUSCAT (OM) did not appreciate racing on the dirt and advised that the addition of blinkers may help in future. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities, however an endoscopic examination revealed a degree of mucus which may have affected the colt’s performance. ES ABU MOUSA (AE) - (A Fresu): Passing the 500 metres had to be eased off the heels of another runner when racing in restricted room. ES LATTAM (AE) - (S Hitchcott): Bumped by another runner passing the winning post on the first occasion. Eased out of the race near the 600 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the colt to have bled from both nostrils. Acting under the provisions of ERA Rule 21B(a)&(e), Trainer Mr. I Aseel was notified that the colt would not be permitted to exercise, train or race for a period of 21 days, and following must complete a satisfactory gallop in the presence of the ERA Stewards or veterinary officer. HAKAAM (AE) - (D O'Neill): On return to scale the rider advised that the colt hung out for the majority. HAKEEM ALREEF (OM) - (P Cosgrave): Lay out in the early stages. Bumped another runner passing the winning post on the first occasion. MAJDI (AE) - (R Mullen): Brushed on jumping. Was taken wider on the track by another runner over the concluding stages. SATTAM MUSCAT (OM) - (A Al Balushi): Commenced awkwardly, shifted out and brushed another runner, losing ground. YAS XMNSOR (AE) - (Saif Al Balushi): Bumped on jumping. Lay out passing the winning post on the first occasion. ALAA AL KHALEDIAH (SA) - (F Jara): Trainer Mr. M Daggash applied to withdraw the filly as he was informed that he would no longer be the Trainer for Athbah Racing, and as such was unable to enter the Stable from the morning. Stewards acceded to his request and ordered the late withdrawal of the filly at 1:55pm.
